Great little hole in the wall. One of the best menudo I've had in a long time. Hand made corn tortillas were the icing on the cake! Waitress was super nice and the price was very reasonable. I Definitely recommend this place and will be coming back again soon.

First time being here and honestly the food was excellent. The food was fresh an delicious, our server was very nice and polite and fast. The interior/decor of the place was really nice and welcoming. Well worth the money. If you are looking for authentic food, this is the place. Definitely will be coming back whenever I'm in the area again

Service was good. authenticity of the food was great. Handmade tortillas are deliciously fresh. I ordered a albondigas soup and a quesadilla with steak. Both quite tasty and the steak in the quesadilla was quite savory. Very polite and considerate waitress. Thank you for your hospitality. May we pass by around East Los Angeles again for an occasion.

First time at this place, such a pleasant experience. Couldn't be more satisfied. Food was exceptional. And the service was friendly, inviting and wonderful! The patio area was very nice and homely. Can't wait to go back for more!!!

Wowee! This is a more than once kind of a spot. If you are looking for a real mom and pop experience, this is it. It's a small homey spot and it seamed like a neighborhood staple. Everything is made to order and everything was delicious! (The tortillas, oh my gosh!) The wait was just a few minutes and the service was superb. Everyone was so kind and our wait time for food was not long at all. I imagine the wait might be long at times BUT it is worth the wait. The refried beans and rice alone are worth the 5star rating:)

Was out looking for a place to eat and stumbled upon virginias...down to earth place with good food!

I normally give it 5 's and food was excellent like always, but today was long wait coming to customer service. I totally understand very busy which you know the food is great. But it took good 15 minutes to take my order which again I understand it's busy. The part that bothered me after getting my food the waitress never came back to check if I needed anything or offered refill on my drink. Overall the menudo was delicious and homemade tortillas was amazing. Be prepared to drive around took me few trips around the blocks to find parking.

This place is the place to get menudo. Came here on a sunday morning and we were seated fairly quickly out in the patio. The restaurant is just like walking into someone's home and the food reflected that. The menudo tasted so amazing and was super flavorful. The broth was not greasy and had a great oregano flavor. There is a slight kick but nothing too serious. The pansa was also very clean and not fatty at all. Overall you must come here to try the menudo AND you get handmade tortillas.
